How your score works
- Every content answer is a point on a line from “Never” through “Sometimes” to “Always”: the share of your projects the statement holds for, from 0% to 100% in steps of 5%.
- Each statement stands for practices in the IM 2.5 framework, where every stream’s practices are worth 200 points. A practice earns its points for the share of projects your answer stands for.
- Each of the 4 streams you work in counts for its share of your content. Together they make your content score, out of 800.
- Operations practices are ticked as done or not, and only those that concern your streams are asked. The share of the 20 asked that are in place is your operations score, out of 200.
- Together they make a score out of 1,000. Accreditation is awarded at 400.
A few rules
- Some of the framework’s practices are asked in operations instead of content: moved there because they are systems and processes rather than choices made project by project, or because operations already asks the same thing. They count once, in operations, and are left out of your content score. The Scoring Framework marks each one.
- Where a question lists alternatives — kinds of consultant, casting roles — it counts on as many projects as the most common of them, so no project is counted twice.
- WCAG 2.2 testing counts each website or app at the highest level you report.
- A practice that follows on from another counts on no more projects than it does: mentor pairing can’t outrun placements.
- Representation counts for the share of your content that features disability — about 50%, from your Creative Intent answers — so content that isn’t about disability isn’t marked down for it.
